Donald Singleton

Born in Galveston, Tx., and educated in Galveston Independent School District, graduating from Central High School in 1962.

In 1972 he saw the vision across “the burning sands” and was inducted in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Gamma Pi Lambda Chapter.

1993 – Present Organizer and Chairman of the Carver Park Community League.

Donald has been married to his high school sweetheart, Joyce Williams Singleton, for over 53 years. He has three daughters, Dawn Singleton Guillory, Dominique Singleton Johnson, Frenchette Guient. Five grandchildren: Ralf Nowood, Dillon Guillory, graduate of Xavior University, Daswon Guillory, attending Florida State University, Jade Ware, attending Texas State University, and Madison Ware, attending San Jacinto College.

Don’s retired time is spent working on electronics and spending money and time with his grandchildren.
