Eric Malveaux III

Eric Malveaux III was born and raised in Galveston, Texas where he later graduated from Ball High School in 1973. After graduation from high school, Eric attended and graduated from Prairie View A & M University, where he majored in Instrumental Education (K-12) in June of 1977. Following graduation in1977, Eric attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas where he received his certification as an All-Level Special Education Teacher (K-12). (LLD) 

Eric started his teaching career as a Pre-School Music Lead Teacher at The Early Childhood Development Center in Galveston, a teacher at Ball High School where he taught corrective reading, math, Economics, Government, and English.  Also, Eric worked as a reading and math teacher in Dickinson I.S.D. Additionally, Eric worked as a math teacher at Clear Creek High school before retiring in 2013.  After retirement, Eric taught Music Theory at Premier Learning Academy. Moreover, Eric still has a burning desire to advance and positively heightened his knowledge in education, and the students that he was fortunate to teach. He attended and graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake with a Master of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 1980, and later obtained another Master’s Degree as a Mid-Management Administrator (Grades PK-12) (1994). Eric believes that learning never ends. He completed is doctoral courses in Education Leadership in 2012.                  

Eric “Squeaky” Malveaux III was honored to be inducted in to the graduate chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated (Gamma Pi Lambda Chapter) in his home town of Galveston, Texas. Lastly, Eric received several notable honors as a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. Specifically, Eric received Alpha Meritorious Service Awards in 1985, 1992, & 2014, an Appreciation Certificate in 1989-1990, and a 30-year service award in 2008.  Eric truly believes that one of the highest honors that he has been privileged to receive in this life was to be selected through the IMDP process as a member of the greatest fraternity in the world.  Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.  (First of all, servants of all, we shall transcend all)
