Brother Clarence Caroline III was born, raised, and received his elementary education in Galveston, Texas. He graduated from Central High School in the class of 1962 and furthered his education by attending Prairie View A&M College where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1968.
Following graduation from Prairie View, he began teaching in the Galveston Independent School District at Weis Junior High School as an Industrial Educational Instructor in the Metal Shop. Brother Caroline was dually employed at both the Galveston Independent School District and Sears, Inc.
In 1987 Brother Caroline transferred to Central Middle School as the Industrial Education Instructor, where he retired in 2003.
Brother Caroline was inducted into the Gamma Pi Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. in 1972, where he has served in many capacities.
Brother Caroline is an avid outdoors-men and keen leader in the Boy Scouts of America; rising to the rank of Eagle Scout, and serving as Scout Master at George Washington Carver Elementary School, Troop 116.
Clarence and his wife, Ann enjoy a full life in retirement and serving the Galveston area community.
